Every time I’m out at King River Ranch my photography brain just goes CRAZY! They have SO many beautiful spots (Remember Taryn’s bridal session with the horse and bluebonnets?) and I found out they have these amazing pear trees that bloom in the spring. So I when Aubrey asked me if I had any ideas for their engagement session I immediately knew this was the place we needed to go! And the more I thought about it, the more I loved the idea of doing a black and white themed session! I asked Aubrey what she thought, and she was just as obsessed as I was!
So that’s what we did. And we were excited about this day for almost a YEAR! lol.
On the day of our session it was about 40 degrees and windy. We couldn’t feel anything and my fingers were protesting. It’s a miracle, because they still ended up with over 100 images, and you can’t see the cold weather in the photos! #winning
They also brought their adorable pup, Hati, along and she sported a beautiful floral collar. I LOOOOVE the flowers Reiley and Rose put together. The black eyed anemones were the perfect little touch to pull the whole look together.
I can’t WAIT for Aubrey and Avery’s wedding later this year!
Thank-you to the vendors who made this beautiful shoot possible!
