Sarah and Dalton tied the knot Sunday at CW Hill Country Ranch! The weather was nuts, and it rained on and off all day, but that didn’t stop us from getting great photos! I brought my cute umbrellas (hoping that the weather would end up doing the opposite that I prepared for) and we had a great time embracing the rain. The girls’ sunflower bouquets were the perfect pop of happy, and they complemented the Tiffany blue bridesmaid dresses wonderfully.
Sarah incorporated family heirlooms throughout the day. Her mom graciously handed over HER wedding dress from the 80’s, and Sarah used it to accessorize the head table and cake table, and her mom made a ring pillow out of it! It was also incorporated in Sarah’s bouquet that she held onto as she walked down the aisle to her soon-to-be husband.
Sarah wore a stunning gown with three-quarter lace sleeves from David’s Bridal. It was THE perfect dress for her, and when they had their first dance it fluttered through the air like a real-life fairy tale. Sarah and Dalton didn’t just have a first dance, though. They had a choreographer teach them their OWN special dance with lifts and twists and all sorts of magic! Everyone was “ooh-ing” and “ahh-ing,” and I even had goosebumps by the end of it!
Getting to know this couple(and their sweet friends and family!) has been such a joy, and I am so honored they chose ME to capture these memories forever!
These girls were so great!! If you look really close you can see the rain drops! By this point, the rain was slow enough that we didn’t need umbrellas, so they have a nice variety of photos with and without them! #winning The raindrops in this night photo makes my heart SO happy!Click here to see their engagement session!
