I was so excited when Tyler emailed me about proposing to his girlfriend Alexis! Proposals are my absolute favorite thing to plan and photograph, and this one was extra tricky! Since Tyler and Alexis live together AND work together we had to be extra cautious so we didn’t ruin the surprise, and I’m happy to report she was in TOTAL SHOCK!
Thanks to Covid, Tyler had to change his plans a few times, but William Chris Vineyards in Frederickburg was happy to accomodate. Madison helped me set up this cute table with chairs and provided an unopened bottle of peach wine. Tyler actually bought this tablecloth and rose petals on amazon and had them shipped to me so I could set it up before they arrived. It all came together so beautifully!
When they arrived I was hiding and then pretending to work at the vineyard (😂). They brought their best friends along and Madison led them through the butterfly gardens to this spot. Alexis had NO idea what was going on and commented that they needed more chairs for their friends 😂 Then Tyler got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. It was SO sweet, and I’m so happy that he chose me to photograph this amazing day for them! We also had a mini engagement session around the William Chris property. Keep scrolling to see my favorites!
Coronavirus can’t cancel love!
xoxo, Allison
