Kellyn and Spencer booked me over a year ago, so it is surreal that this day came and passed in a flash! We did their engagement session last year at CW Hill Country Ranch in Boerne(see it here) where I met them for the first time. I knew they were my kind of couple immediately, and when I saw them again for their wedding it was like a mini reunion!

Kellyn and Spencer were a little “extra” in the BEST WAY. They had matching custom boots WITH THEIR DATE and their initials! We all admired them and kept saying “I didn’t even know this was possible!” haha! They are seriously something special (scroll down to see them).

They were also EXTREMELY lucky! My weather app said 80% chance of rain for Saturday for the whole week leading up, but when noon rolled around, the clouds parted and the sun came out for the rest of the day. It was definitely HOT and humid, but after our cold front and flooding we have had in central Texas the last four days, I am betting that they would still take the heat if they had the choice.

Kellyn also had TWO bridal looks for the wedding! She had a beautiful blush skirt that went over her Martina Liana lace gown, and I have to say I love them both so much! I’m a sucker for blush tulle, but the ornate lace of the dress underneath the skirt was just so gorgeous! So, of course, we took photos with both :) And her amazing veil was the cherry on top of it all. I LOOOVE veils. And the longer, the better(I’ll keep my “that’s what she said” joke to myself here)

My favorite part of the day? Watching these two look at each other. I teared up behind my camera, and again when I was editing their photos. They are a true example of true love, and I look forward to watching them grow throughout life.

Just a warning…you might audibly gasp when you see these boots.  one of my new favorite photos! THAT DRESS! I also loved having the opportunity to photograph the groom’s details! When I was doing Kellyn and Spencer’s night portraits, Kellyn told Spencer “Allison reminds me of Amanda!” and then Amanda came outside and I found my long lost sister. lol. I think if I still had makeup on and some pink lipstick we do look pretty similar!
