A Greenery + White Black Tie Wedding at Camp Waldemar in Hunt, Texas | Hill Country Wedding Photographer

Emily and Bryce wanted to give their guests the ultimate “fun” experience, so when looking for their wedding venue, they settled on something that would be epic–Camp Waldemar! It’s a private camp in the middle of Hunt, Texas, one of the most beautiful places on Earth. When we drove in I noticed it looked like adult summer camp, and that’s exactly what it was. There was even a flag on the pole that said “Camp Jones.” This was honestly one of the most amazing weddings I have ever been to, because the atmosphere was so perfect. Everyone was having the best day, ever, and then they got to celebrate the entire wedding weekend!

My favorite time from the whole day was the reception! Emily crowd-surfed, the band was AMAZING, and everyone was having the time of their lives.

Other favorite moments from their day:

• The first look between Emily and her Dad. We may have been crying behind the camera.
• Emily and Bryce reading their vows to each other–THE SWEETEST–And watching their parents get emotional during the ceremony.
• The first dances! Emily and Bryce danced to “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” and had some fancy moves mixed in there ;)

Every corner I turned, I felt like we were on the set of The Parent Trap. The dock in the middle of the river, the fencing gear we found in a closet, and the feeling of camp. If you’re a Parent Trap lover, you know that when the band started singing “This Will Be,” that was the cherry on top.

Their day was absolutely PERFECT. The weather was amazing, they had the time of their life, and they were surrounded by the people who love them.

Emily and Bryce, I hope you guys have decades of love and happiness to come, and I am so so happy for you!!!

Fun fact: at their engagement session they hopped on a city scooter, and it was everyone’s favorite photo. This is when I knew they were the ultimate couple and their wedding was going to be amazing.

Emily and Bryce got married during Fiesta, and I LOVE that they incorporated those aspects into their wedding. The girls wore these adorable sundresses and the guys wore fun suspenders.  Fiesta suspenders: *Check* ✅ Capturing parent reactions is one of my favorites.  one of my favorites from the whole day: Bryce saying a prayer after they took communion together for the first time as husband and wife.  We were TRULY blessed by this beautiful sunshine!! I still can’t get over it!  They had dinner under the tent and then moved to the lodge for their epic dance party! They even had a custom flag made for “Camp Jones.”  And, night portraits for the win! 😍 The beautiful trees at Camp Waldemar didn’t disappoint!
