Kylie and Ricky tied the knot at The Chandelier of Gruene in New Braunfels, and it COULDN’T HAVE BEEN MORE BEAUTIFUL!
I honestly don’t even know where to start with these two. I got to know them earlier this year at their engagement session (see it here) and Kylie’s beautiful bridal session (see it here). They’re such a sweet couple! Ricky is the “fun” guy who makes Kylie laugh and pulls her out of her shell, and Kylie is the one who keeps them grounded. Watching them dance together in the Soul train that formed during their reception was THE CUTEST, and I was impressed by their disco moves (check out my instagram story for more of that action)
Texas has had on-and-off crazy weather for the past two months, and we got SO lucky Sunday with no rain and a comfortable temperature. And I’m so glad because the lounge area was the perfect spot for wedding party photos.
Kylie chose shades of grey for her bridesmaids’ dresses, and they looked SO GOOD, especially paired with the burgundy + greenery bouquets and the guys in navy. I have a feeling grey bridesmaid dresses will be trending before we know it ;)
My favorite part of the day was Ricky’s reaction to Kylie coming down the aisle. I can’t wait to see Dynamic Films’ video of it! I also loved getting to know their sweet friends and family. Everyone was SO nice, and I had the best time photographing them.
I still can’t get over how amazing this day was, and I am so grateful Kylie and Ricky chose me to photograph all of these special memories :) I won’t soon forget.
Ricky had Kylie’s engagement ring made with two diamonds from her grandmother’s ring. *cue the tears*
You can find these gorgeous shoes at this link! The moment that really got me was when I saw Ricky’s mom watching his expression as the chapel doors opened. She started crying, then I started tearing up! It was so so sweet. I also love how joyful the parents are! I usually don’t include family photos in my blog posts, but this one was just too hilarious! I CANNOT get over these ladies in grey! love, love, love! Kylie had this lounge area, and we definitely made good use out of it! We did full wedding party, bridal party, and family Christmas card photos here. When we have a larger wedding party I love having furniture for some of them to sit on! My “woo” girls! I also love how they naturally paired up with their matching shade of grey. if you haven’t noticed by now, these girls were so much fun! The boys photobombed us when they were done taking their group photos. haha! My favorite couples portraits are usually of them interacting with each other, but I ALWAYS make sure to grab some traditional “mom” photos where they are looking and smiling at the camera. This tree swing in front of the chapel at The Chandelier of Gruene is everything! Scroll down to see their epic night portrait *insert all the heart eyes here* The moment I thought we were done with couples portraits, the sun came out for about two seconds! My other favorite part about The Chandelier of Gruene: the GIGANTIC chandelier in the reception hall! an impromptu soul train formed (during the song “Stayin’ Alive”), and it was the best thing ever. My face hurt from smiling so much!
