Stephanie and Drew wanted something intimate and personal for their wedding day. Stephanie is like me and hates being the center of attention, and they wanted to be able to truly celebrate WITH each other, so they eloped; although it was a planned elopement, so maybe we should call this a very intimate wedding? They had their two best friends, pastor, and me as their witnesses, and they chose to say “I do” in the United Methodist Church in Chappel Hill, Texas.
Chappel Hill is one of the cutest little towns I have ever been in! It has rolling hills and beautiful little chapels on every corner–and in between! The little white chapel they were married in was so adorable, and Stephanie adored the stained glass windows. She told me this town is extra special to her, and I can see why!
As Stephanie came down the aisle, the pianist played “A Thousand Years,” and there were tears! It was such a sweet moment between she and Drew.
Elopements are quickly becoming one of my favorite things to photograph. They’re so stress-free and intimate! Plus I get all of the portrait time I want ;)
Congratulations Stephanie and Drew!
See more elopements on the blog here!
xoxo, Allison
