I’v had the pleasure of getting to know Taryn and Mason pretty well. I knew they were my kind of couple the moment they emailed me! We had so much fun at their engagement session(see it here) at Cherokee Rose, and Taryn rocked her bridal session(see it here) so hard that I had her model for a stylized shoot a couple of weeks later! Taryn is beautiful inside and out, and Mason has a heart of gold. Watching the two of them interact all day was such a joy. I even shed a few tears during their ceremony(don’t judge me!). They wrote their own heart-felt vows that reminded us all of what true love really is.

They married on Earth Day in the Texas Hill Country, and it was so perfect. All of the woodland creatures (a baby lamb and goat, to be exact) were the perfect mascots for the Earth Day theme and the details throughout the wedding were the perfect touch (check out those bridesmaid dresses!) We, surprisingly, had a cold front blow in the night before, so it was a nice 60 degrees all day with no rain, and perfect lighting!

It was such an honor to be a part of Taryn and Mason’s best day ever. I have the best job ever!


Since Taryn and Mason shared a First Look, they DOUBLED the amount of portraits they’re receiving! Win-Win! Taryn has THE most stunning eyes.   In leu of a wedding cake, they chose cupcakes!
