Becca and Jason are getting married TOMORROW at Gruene Estate!!
We met up at Cibolo Nature Center in Boerne last week for their engagement session. Becca had seen other sessions I’ve photographed at Cibolo Nature Center and LOVED the creek. She absolutely needed it as the background for their engagement session (I can’t blame her! ;). It was also a nice spot to cool off since it was 97 degrees!
Jason is a Marine stationed in North Carolina, so they didn’t have a chance to come down before the wedding to do their engagement session. You might be thinking “why would they do their session a week before the wedding?” but there were a few good reasons for that! 1. If a couple needs to warm up to the camera (they obviously didn’t LOL #modelstatus) an engagement session is the perfect time to do that. 2. Many couples never have any “real” photos taken of them, so it gives you a chance to see what you look like in photos other than selfies. 3. Most of my couples book me without meeting me first, so I love getting to get to know them during their engagement session. It makes me even more excited to celebrate with them on their wedding day!
We had so much fun with these two and absolutely cannot wait for tomorrow! I already know I’m gonna cry. lol.
