Madelynn and Brendan are M-A-R-R-I-E-D!! They tied the knot this past weekend at The Club at Garden Ridge, and despite our crazy Texas weather we’ve been having lately 💨🌧☀🔥 , it didn’t rain, and the wedding was beautiful!

From her two-piece wedding dress to her all-white tulip florals, everything was simply perfect. Madelynn is a no fuss kind of girl, and I think her choice in wedding decor, invitations, and jewelry really came together beautifully. Madelynn’s all-white tulip bouquet was my favorite detail from the day! But I also love her pink satin flats that tied in the back. And her Wtoo wedding dress. Okay, okay, I love it ALL! In fact, I came home and told Jason that if I could have a do-over, I would copy her wedding! haha! #tulipsaremyspiritanimal 🌷

And I told Madelynn about 1,000 times that she looked like Jane (from Tarzan). It’s like she jumped out of my TV, into real life and got married. Maybe it’s just because she had a braid and a beautiful Disney smile, but I see it! (Comment below if you agree!)

I am SO honored these two chose me to photograph their #bestdayever and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them. I had SUCH a great time getting to know them in such a short time, and I hope our paths meet again <3

A piece of her grandmother’s hankie was sewn into her dress *cue the “awww’s”*Fun fact: this next photo was taken in complete darkness at the reception!  This was one of the SWEETEST first looks I’ve ever seen! Since Madelynn didn’t have a bridal session before the wedding, we carved out 30 minutes for a mini bridal session!  And the wind was relentless! But we worked with it! We had THE best time. Brendan also had a very short “Groomal” session. haha!  Madelynn’s mom is literally the cutest thing, ever. I can tell she was that soccer mom who screamed “That’s my baby!” from the stands…and possibly has a cheerleader background. Haha!  I love it! Madelynn came back down the aisle rejoicing “I’M A WAITE!”  One thing I love about The Club at Garden Ridge: It has so many great locations for photos!  Our planners made sure we were on track (and that we had plenty of photo time!) and Wes with Cutting Edge Entertainment kept the party alive!
Madelynn’s friends were the cutest!  My favorite part of the night, right here!  I love how the little bugs flying in the air look like fireflies! (They definitely LOOK better than they sound! ha!)
