A Summer Engagement Session at Contigo Ranch Wedding Venue | Fredericksburg TX Wedding Photographer

Michelle and Mason are getting married at Contigo Ranch this Fall, and when we were deciding on a location for their engagement session, Contigo kept coming back as an option. The views put it above every other location–literally–and we thought it would be a great practice run for their wedding. Little did we know we would get the perfect amount of BEYONCE WIND and the beautiful sunshine! Despite it being the middle of a Texas Summer, the weather was absolutely amazing. By some miracle, it was only in the 80s and the wind made it feel even cooler than that!

They also brought their adorable puppy, Ranger, along and he did SO well *insert all the heart eyes here*. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a PUPPY behave so well at a session! (Keep scrolling to see my favorite of him)

When I met these two they were nervous and telling me things like “we don’t know what we are doing” and “we’re awkward in front of the camera” but I assured them they would do great and everyone feels this way before their engagement session. It wasn’t until I showed them the back of my camera throughout the session that they BELIEVED me! After getting the hang of things they were naturals and look like they should be a model couple for J Crew.

I absolutely can’t wait for their wedding in November, and we are all so glad they decided to do this engagement session!  Ranger was such a good boy! He’s only 9 months old! The lighting at Contigo Ranch is unbelievable 😍 My FAVORITE! I have NEVER seen a view quite like this in the Hill Country!
