When Betsy emailed me about photographing their wedding, I insisted they do an engagement session to get used to the camera and snuggling (a LOT of snuggling hahaha). She was a little hesitant with our time crunch(the wedding is in two weeks!), but they agreed! I found this beautiful lot of land in Fredericksburg, Texas that had yellow wildflowers, and felt like we were straight out of The Sound of Music. And to their surprise, they were complete naturals in front of the camera! Everyone always says “we are awkward and don’t know what to do” and I always surprise them by showing them their model status photos. Betsy and Max were no exception, and photographing their love was so easy!
They live an hour apart from each other, so they meet in Fredericksburg pretty often for date nights and to enjoy the scenery. They had their first date at Auslander (You HAVE to go and try their cabbage rolls) and were immediately smitten with each other and have been inseparable since.
I had so much fun with them and can’t wait for their wedding in Stonewall!
If you look close enough at this ring shot you can see the Texas star! It went PERFECTLY with the bluebonnets!
xoxo, Allison
