A Surprise Summer Proposal in the Texas Hill Country | Texas Wedding Photographer
Emery planned the SWEETEST surprise proposal for Caitlin and I was there to capture the whole thing! Originally, Emery had planned to propose in Oregon, but with Rona sweeping the nation he decided a Texas Hill Country proposal was the next best thing, if not BETTER!
Emery planned his “birthday trip” for them and their friends so Caitlin wouldn’t be suspicious about having them all together for no reason. Her friend Christina kept Caitlin distracted while the boys decorated the pavilion. Emery told Caitlin that he wanted some birthday photos with balloons, so she had her hair and makeup all done and was none the wiser. It was actually a genius plan, and I am so impressed by the lengths this man took to plan everything out!
They called Caitlin and Christina to come down for birthday photos (😂) and when she rounded the corner she got the surprise of a lifetime. Their song “Big, Big Plans” was playing in the background and I don’t even know what happened next but my eyes were welling up 🥺.
She said yes, of course, and was completely ecstatic the rest the evening!
We did a mini engagement session down by the river, and the lighting was sent straight from heaven. Keep scrolling for my favorites! It’s safe to say I’m OBSESSED!
