Delaney and Nathan tied the knot this past weekend at The Ingenhuett On High, and it was AHMAZING!
I met this sweet couple at Holly and Joe’s wedding last August, and I immediately loved them. So when Delaney emailed me about photographing their wedding I couldn’t have been more excited! Those are the weddings I love most—where It’s like a reunion with friends, and I get to see so many familiar faces!
The wedding was G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S
I heard they were renting a vintage Bentley, and I saw the wedding Pinterest board, but I wasn’t prepared for so. Much. PRETTY!
Delaney chose a classy black and white look with an Art Deco feel. My favorite details were her invitations and the black eyed anemones found in the bouquets and trickled throughout the ceremony and reception decor.
Delaney also went a smidge untraditional and wore a blush wedding dress *insert all the heart eyes here*. Her bridesmaids wore long black dresses with the perfect amount of sparkle, and the guys completed their tuxes with black bow ties. Everyone looked sharp.
The Ingenhuett is the PERFECT location for a classy unique wedding in the heart of the Hill Country.
It also has such a special story to tell. After the Ingenhuett store burned down over a decade ago, the Leeder family bought the store and restored it, leaving the charred limestone and melted grout. A few years ago, they opened their doors to weddings and became the most unique venue i have ever seen. You can look at the walls throughout the venue and see where the fire scorched different areas, and it is absolutely beautiful. They have the original safe from the early 1900s that is made of solid steel and has tons of character (I feel like Joanna Gaines right now haha!), and a koi pond that invites guests into cocktail hour. I could go on all day about how cute this place is, but I think you get it ;)
Congratulations, again, Delaney and Nathan! I had SUCH a wonderful time being a part of your best day ever, and I wish you years and years of joy!
Delaney and Nathan decided to do a First Look (read more about what that is here), and I am SO glad, because it started raining few moments after their couples portraits. Fortunately, they were able to get photos with the Bentley and the venue before that happened!
When I saw that it was still raining during the reception I stole them away for a few night portraits, and I have to say, these are my new favorites!
