A Classic Blush Summer Wedding at Lost Mission | Texas Hill Country Wedding Photographer

I met Chelsea and Devin in December of 2016 at Devin’s sister’s wedding! (You might remember Erin and Neal if you’re a long-time follower). Chelsea and I bonded over their Cajun food truck(and she introduced me to beignets! lol), and when she emailed me a year later about photographing their wedding at Lost Mission I was so excited! Not only because I get to see the whole family again, but Lost Mission is one of the most beautiful venues in the Texas Hill Country!

Chelsea’s vision for a classic and elegant wedding came together beautifully and she was bridal perfection. From her amazing pink shoes to her beautiful dress–everything was so gorgeous! Her bridesmaids wore blush dresses from Weddington Way, and their bouquets were simple stems of peonies.

As we all know, Texas weather is absolutely nuts. The day of the wedding it was 99 degrees PLUS humidity, so we got creative and REALLY fast at taking photos outside (haha!). Chelsea and Devin decided to do a First Look before the wedding (read more about why that’s an amazing idea here ;) so we were able to do most of their couples portraits and all of their wedding party portraits PRE-ceremony!

I am SO honored they chose me to photograph their best day ever. We had such a great time with their sweet friends and family at the wedding, and I can’t wait to see them again!  The bridesmaids pointed out this little bird nest, and I couldn’t resist!

Can we talk about these SHOES for a second? *insert all the heart eyes* (You can find them here) The little bows on the heels had me “awwww”-ing the whole time!

Chelsea’s wedding band is one of my all-time FAVORITES! I LOVE the little pearls.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate ALL of the beautiful LIGHT at Lost Mission?! Seriously, every turn has the beautiful clean light that I love so much.

Devin’s niece was passing out programs. She was CUTE! And so fashionable! Check out those coordinating nails. Their second kiss as husband and wife :) and their third ;) As a lot of you know, night portraits are my absolute favorite, and this time was no different!
