Katie and Kevin’s wedding at Sisterdale Dancehall was one of my favorites! The weather was so beautiful (and also pretty crazy at times! More about that in a bit) and their friends and family were so sweet! Not to mention the bride and groom had us cracking up all day! They’re just such a fun and lovable couple, which makes my job so easy!
Katie chose “mist” and dusty rose as the wedding colors, and I have to say this is my new favorite color palette! I’m pretty much obsessed with those bridesmaid dresses. They flowed so beautifully with the crazy wind we had!
As I mentioned earlier, the weather was beautiful (because it wasn’t 100 degrees like the previous weeks!), but so interesting. During their ceremony it rained about 5 drops while the sun was shining, then it was cloudy without rain, then it was sunny with rain, then it was cloudy again! Then it was sunny again! It was raining in most of their couples portraits even though the sun was still shining! We basically got tired of trying to guess what was going on with all of that and embraced it. If Katie and Kevin didn’t care about a few raindrops, then neither did I!
Katie and Kevin, I am so honored you chose me to photograph your love story! I had such a great time getting to know you guys, and I’m so happy to see you two married, but I’m kind of sad that it’s over 😭
Katie was practicing her model skills I taught her. haha! It totally turned out to be one of my favorites from the day. 
Something else I love about Katie and Kevin is their love for night portraits! They were willing to try anything, so I thought it was the perfect time to try out some new stuff :D
