An Elegant Purple Wedding at The Marquardt Ranch | Boerne Wedding Photographer

I met Sydney and David via David’s sister’s wedding (are you confused yet? haha). I adore their family, so when they asked me to photograph Sydney and David’s wedding I was so excited! After what seemed like an eternity, July finally rolled around and it was go-time. Sydney was one of the coolest cucumber brides I’ve ever photographed and David wasn’t so bad either ;). They married at The Marquardt Ranch in Boerne with a gorgeous view of the Texas Hill Country as a backdrop, and even had a little unexpected visitor during the ceremony (photo below!) I loved being a part of this special day, and I wish them years of happiness! Sydney had all of the Kendra Scott Color Bar As I was standing in the back taking photos I heard rustling in the grass behind me. To my surprise, an ARMADILLO was trying to burrow in the ground right next to my bag!  Most photographers wouldn’t include this in their blog. But I’m not most photographers ;) These guys were so much fun! The infamous chicken dance :) One thing I really love about Sydney is her sense of adventure. She told me she wanted photos on the roof (my kind of girl!) and getting up the steps in a tulle dress that weighs 20 pounds is NOT easy!
