Emily and Sam are two cool, laid-back people who know how to throw one heck of a PARTY! They had their ceremony in the garden at The Mansion at Riverhill Country Club, and their reception on the lawn. Emily wanted a minimal timeless look, and that’s exactly what she got. Her gorgeous Tatyana Merenyuk gown was simply stunning (those sleeves, though ๐), and she wore her grandmother’s ring throughout the day.
We also had THE PERFECT weather. If you live in Texas, you know how unpredictable it can be at times all the time.
But the best part of the day? When Emily break danced IN her wedding dress!ย I have never seen that in my life, and she was so good at it! In fact, I do believe this was the best dance party I’ve ever witnessed. Ever.
it was so great being a part of this wedding (and working with some awesome vendors–credits below!). I loved getting to know Sam and Emily, and I wish them years and years of love and joy.

I love this behind-the-scenes image taken by my assistant, Aubrey. A lot of brides tell me they don’t know how to pose or what to do with their hands, but I tell them they don’t have to know! I teach them everything they need to know–examples include (haha!)
