Navy is the color of the year! Truth be told, 90% of our weddings this year have had navy incorporated in some way. I am a personal fan and think navy is the new black. I was itching to do a styled shoot so I got with my gal pal Jen Harbuck with Southern Unique Events and we put our heads together. We wanted something modern, rustic, and a little different. We love the navy trend and copper is becoming quite popular, as well. We toured Cherokee Rose in Comfort, Texas and immediately fell in love. Not only with the gorgeous venue, but Jorja and Dakota, too! We found the PERFECT dress at Beatitude Bridal in Boerne and The Elegant Bee created the most beautiful and unique center pieces for us! You can check out the feature HERE and I’ll add some of my favorite shots below :)
Happy Tuesday! xoxo
One of my favorite things about Cherokee Rose are the chandeliers! Such a classy touch to the restored barn I am a huge fan of this asymetrical bouquet! Can you see the Louquats in there ? Did I mention we shot this in the middle of summer and were FREEZING? Texas is so weird, but I had SO much fun with these ladies! And I’m so glad it didn’t hail on us LOL
