Sage and Pink Wedding at Sisterdale Dancehall

Sisterdale Dancehall has been around FOR-ever. It has the most BEAUTIFUL oak trees and the dancehall, itself, is still standing after over 100 years. It’s a magical place and I love when I have the opportunity to capture special moments there.

Sandra and Forrest are two Texas Aggies who fell in love in college. Their wedding was rustic, elegant, and had a hint of modern flare. Sandra had a “first look” with her bridesmaids as well as her brother and father before the wedding. Sandra and Forrest wrote their own vows and opted to have a giant wedding program on an easel for display at the ceremony site as well as a timeline for guests to see throughout the evening.

I LOVED being a part of this love story!

The sign-in “book” will hang on their wall at home forever :)  When two Aggies get married, incorporating their rings into the traditional ring shot is a MUST.
Each chalkboard tells the story of how they met Sandra :) I absolutely LOVED this first look with her bridesmaids! I love these mix and match bridesmaids dresses!Typical sibling shot ;)

Every table had selfie sticks for their guests to use and hashtag happily ever HoersterAs you know, ring shots are one of my favorite things, and this oval cut is KILLIN me! <3  This adorable ginger baby was the life of the party! Night shots are also one of my favorite things. Sandra LOVED these barrels, so it was so cool to incorporate them into a unique piece of art for the wall. And the magical oak tree :) They rallied around and sang the Aggie War Hymn, then everyone grabbed glow sticks and sent the newlyweds off!
