Lori and Eric are two of the sweetest people I’ve ever worked with, and they made my job so easy! They live out of state, so I didn’t have the chance to meet them in person before their wedding at Southwest School of Art, but from the moment I met Lori in Hotel Havana parking lot I knew it was going to be a good day! She’s a sweet southern belle and has a selfless giving heart of gold. Eric is genuine, loving, and watching him love on Lori throughout their wedding day was so inspiring. I had SUCH a great time with these two and their friends and family. The food was delicious and the entertainment was sensational. The string trio that played for the ceremony and part of the reception were literally perfect and sounded SO beautiful. They were followed by the best mariachi band I’ve ever heard. They played such soulful music (you know what I’m talking about if you watched my Instagram story ;) and they even did Despacito as a special request. haha!
I am truly so blessed to have been chosen to photograph this special day, and I hope our paths cross again in the future! Lori got ready at Hotel Havana just a couple of blocks away from Southwest School of Art, and I fell in love with the character of the hotel. And their “vintage” room keys! Fun fact: All of these detail shots were taken with flash in a dark corner. Every couple has their power pose, and this is theirs! How stunning do they look! We were at cocktail hour and I saw this beautiful light pouring in! I couldn’t resist just a few more photos of Lori and Eric!
