A Blush and Greenery Fall Wedding at The Oaks at Boerne Wedding Venue | Boerne Texas Hill Country Wedding Photographer

Callie and Trevor booked me over a year ago for their wedding at the BEAUTIFUL venue, The Oaks at Boerne! They found out about 6 months ago that they were expecting their second child, and Callie was GLOWING the day of their wedding. She had the perfect baby bump, and it was so sweet getting to capture these moments for them.

I was fortunate enough to get to know them during their engagement session (see it here) and Callie’s bridal session (see it here). They are SO SWEET and I love the way Trevor looks at Callie. Callie’s mom also came to both shoots, and I love her, too. haha! She’s THE CUTEST!

If you live in Texas you know how crazy the weather has been lately, and I have to admit I had my doubts about the forecast on Saturday. But when the day finally rolled around it rained that morning, and then cleared up for us! It sprinkled a little during the ceremony, so they got their good-luck rain, and then they partied the rest of the night with their friends and family sans rain.

Callie said she chose The Oaks at Boerne for her wedding venue because it was just so beautiful and the owners were so sweet. When I drove up to the venue, I knew exactly what she meant! They have the most beautiful oak trees, and their ceremony site is stunning with lights raining down from the trees(you HAVE to see their night photos!). They also have a cute structure and a tree swing–really everything my dreams are made of. haha!

I admit, I still cry at weddings–like, all the time. But this wedding made me tear up more than once! Watching Trevor see his soon-to-be wife walk down the aisle with a tear in his eye was almost more than I could handle! And seeing the way they looked at each other during their vows (and the entire day) was so special. We could all feel the love and I knew they found their “person” in life.

I could go on and on about these two (I probably will as we scroll down, let’s be honest) and I’m so grateful that they chose me to photograph their best day, ever!

The perfect pregnancy wedding shoes.  Trevor might be the most thoughtful groom I’ve ever had. He gave Callie three envelopes with three gifts throughout the day of their wedding along with sweet letters. Callie wanted to make him laugh during their first look, so she wore a clown nose. It worked! haha.  Callie had a bridesman, and it was great!  Their son was their best man, and he stole the show *insert heart eyes here* Callie and Trevor were gracious enough to try some night time portrait experimentations, and I LOVE how these turned out!!  The moment I saw this structure at The Oaks at Boerne I immediately thought “night portrait!” And the same went for the stringed lights. I fell in LOVE.
