Tobyn and Amber married at Tobyn’s family ranch just outside of Kerrville, Texas this summer. It was a true ranch wedding. Amber chose navy blue, yellow, and cream as her color palette. The guys wore navy blue button-down shirts with a subtle paisley pattern, and the girls wore these adorable tea-length dresses that had secret pockets(I secretly wanted one) from David’s Bridal. Amber’s bouquet entailed beautiful yellow sunflowers, creamy roses, tiny white daisies, white gerbera daisies, and baby’s breath to tie it all together, and the groomsmen wore boutonnieres with cream-colored roses and yellow daises with baby’s breath.
The entire wedding was in the field right outside of their home, which transformed into a dance floor and ceremony site. This particular wedding was scheduled right at the end of the Texas flood of 2015, and it sprinkled for the first part of the day, then it was cloudy, then it poured down rain, then it was sunny! Texas can never make up its mind ;) This wedding turned out so beautiful, and the clouds just added some extra beautiful soft light (don’t be afraid of clouds!). I loved being a part of this wedding and capturing memories this couple will never forget. Amber and Tobyn are so sweet and CUTE together. I wish you 50 more years of happiness!

I had my extra-tall second shooter, Kristen, climb up there to hang the dress. This house isn’t called “Casa Grande” for nothing!
More ring shots. You can never have enough ;) I found this in Mama Large’s kitchen
Amber, Sister, and Mom before getting in the dress
These guys. I’m not sure how our portrait time ended up like this, but I like it. Tobyn and his dad built this arbor together! The sunflower arrangements with the navy blue ribbons were perfect.
The secret pockets! We were going for “Bridesmaids.” They killed it. In a good way. But their serious faces didn’t last long!
I’m in love with these hay bales covered in vintage quilts. That one on the far left corner is my absolute favorite!
Tobyn’s grandma was the cutest thing I’ve seen all day. So much charisma! The ring bearer was the second cutest thing ;) Those suspenders, though! And mom with the bribery. I love it.
The angry clouds in the background really do make a lovely scene.
boys :)
Not a moment later, the skies let loose! Everyone gathered around under the tents, and 5 minutes later the sun came out for the rest of the night. This was seriously perfect timing!Soft lighting: There’s not much in life that I love more
The coloring artwork I promised
Sun flares are my favorite, too ;)
