When I first drove by the Altstadt Brewerey on Highway 290 I couldn’t help but stare! It was a huge project and I couldn’t even imagine how magical it would turn out to be. When it was far enough into completion for tours, I put on my hardhat and bright orange vest and went on a tour. Cass, the venue manager, showed me the custom laid tile, grand fireplace, reception hall, ceremony space, and all of the nooks and crannies that make this place so great. I immediately fell in love and it reminded me so much of Beauty and The Beast with the hand-carved details throughout the venue and the castle-like appearance.
IT IS PERFECT.
So I got together with Hill Country Planning and Viridian Design Studio and we put together a shoot that had Beauty and The Beast elements. We wanted it to look Beauty and The Beast inspired, but not like Disney threw up on our shoot. Do you know what I mean? ;)
Everything from the color palette to the amazing menu put together by Cartewheels Catering, to our modern minimal dress with Belle sleeves, tablescape, dessert, and our model couple who are a normal real-life couple! Every part of this shoot had a hint of Beauty and The Beast, and I felt all of my Disney dreams coming true.
The weather on our shoot day was a little less than ideal. A storm was rolling in and the sun completely left us, but I still LOVE how this turned out! It might actually suit the mood of the shoot even better!

The col thing about Altstadt Brewery is that it has multiple ceremony options! They have a gorgeous outdoor ceremony space with magnolia trees and a fountain and this indoor space with the grand fireplace (I can stand under the mantel!) that has beautiful hand-carved details.
We actually did this shoot while they were still under construction, so I had to be very strategic with my angles! For this shot I had to move crop out lots of cardboard and plastic, but I LOVE how it came out! 
Ashley was the perfect Belle!
