My childhood friends,Barbie (Nikki) and Ken, finally tied the knot after dating for, like, 50 YEARS! ‘Rona threw a wrench into their plans to get married in March, so they eloped! They had a beautiful ceremony in my backyard and included their cute little puppy.
They were a little stiff at first, but were able to loosen up π
I had the best time designing their whole wedding! I made her dress, styled her hair, glued some earrings on, and made the circle arch (out of an embroidery hoop, a bush, and some paper flowers), bouquet, boutonniere, and the officiant’s dress.
I might have lost my mind just a leetle bit ππ¬
I’ve been wanting to do something like this for YEARS, but it always got pushed to the back-burner! When ‘Rona wrecked my Spring wedding season I had no other excuses and nothing but time on my hands. So here we are!

I started a youtube channel and will be sharing a video on how I styled this invitation suite as well as how I made this textured styling board! Be sure to subscribe by clicking here!
I didn’t have access to flowers, but I snatched these pink ones from my flower bed! They ended up being perfect because there were different shades!
Ken forgot his lint roller π€¦πΌββοΈ
Barbie’s Dream Wedding is actually MY dream wedding ππ If Jason and I were to get married again right now it would probably look exactly like this. Dress and all!
Ken wouldn’t stop touching her butt.
We definitely made sure to include their fur child in their photos ;)
Fun Fact: It took me HOURS to make barbie’s dress because my sewing machine died. I ended up hand-stitching the whole thing.
Jason helped me with the veil toss pics!
Fun fact: I used a clear elastic (like the kind for your hair) to help Ken hold Barbie up!Β This pose is what I call the “turtle” or “koala” pose. Ken and Barbie nailed it ππ½
I couldn’t find my original Barbie convertible from the 90s, but Walmart had the perfect getaway car for them.
