Michelle and Mason said their vows on the highest hill at Contigo Ranch in Fredericksburg, Texas last month! Everything was gorgeous thanks to Ida Mayes Floral and Epoch Events, and Michelle and Mason looked amazing.
They booked me a year before their wedding, so to say that I was excited for this day to get here was an understatement, and honestly everything went perfectly for their destination Hill Country wedding! The week leading up to the wedding was kind of scary 😅We had a cold front blow in with twenty degree weather and SNOW! But when the weekend rolled around it was sunny skies and sixty-five 😎.
My favorite moment from their day was watching Mason watch Michelle come down the aisle. Even though they had a first look, he was in AWE of her and it was the sweetest thing!
when I have two Aggies tying the knot, I make sure and get this family photo too ;) Ida Maye’s hooked us up with the florals for styling! It makes all the difference.
Michelle’s dress was SO STUNNING. One of my all-time favorites for SURE!
I LOVE it when my couples do a “first look,” especially in the Fall/Winter because we rarely get a true sunset in those months. So they got bright sunny photos preceremony AND (as you’ll see later) softer “sunset” photos after the ceremony. THIS BOUQUET is a favorite for SURE. I love love love the color palette from this wedding and how whimsical and beautiful her bouquet turned out.
Michelle’s Nephews are her whole heart, and I can see why! 😍
I was photographing the girls’ group shots and looked over at these two watching them. It was THE CUTEST THING.
Sometimes you just gotta pick your nose 🤣
When dads cry, I cry.
and in B&W just for fun! Which do you prefer?
If Michelle got any more beautiful her face would explode, I swear!
I love how they had little blankets as favors for the outdoor tables.
Contigo isn’t your average barn wedding venue. Inside it’s like Joanna Gaines, herself, designed this beautiful space! I can’t get enough of the Black fixtures!
You might remember Michelle and Mason’s engagement session that included their pup Ranger. He had his own cocktail at the wedding and they included him on Mason’s cake! There was a memory table with wedding photos of siblings, parents, grandparents, and great grandparents that had memorabilia from their weddings.
I’ve witnessed a lot of Aggie War Hymns, but I’ve never seen one like this!
The moms were backup vocalists for a hot second.
Vintage car rentals are, literally, ALWAYS a good idea!
Michelle and Mason were down for lots of night photos, and the magic that happened surprised even ME! I saw these oak trees at the venue and thought they would look pretty cool, but when I snapped the first photo my jaw dropped!
