A Surprise Proposal at Enchanted Rock in Fredericksburg, Texas | Texas Wedding Photographer

When Raamis emailed me about photographing his proposal to his girlfriend, Anam, I couldn’t WAIT for the day to come! He gathered all of their cousins and orchestrated one of the most thoughtful proposals I have ever seen! He and his cousin Azim hiked up Enchanted Rock the week before to plan everything out.

We all hiked up earlier than Raamis and Anam and got into place.  Raamis made signs for the family to hold that said “Anam will you marry me” and they hid behind a hill with the signs while my assistant and I pretended to take photos of each other (we were actually being creepy and snapping photos of them instead LOL).

When Raamis asked Anam to turn around and look out at the view for some ‘gram pics he got down on one knee, the cousins came running with their signs, and yelled “Anam!” She looked back behind her and saw Raamis down on one knee with the most beautiful ring, ever! It was so beautiful and there were some tears!

After she said YES we had a little photo op with the most stunning views and boulders. It was amazing, and I’m so happy for them!  These tiny little people are them! and us, acting like tourists ;)
