Melani and Orlando’s wedding was our last one for the year, and we went out with a bang! They chose Kendall Plantation as their wedding venue, and it was SO pretty. Of course, it’s hard to make KP ugly, but everything looked great and I love the colors Melani chose for the wedding–emerald and champagne. It looked so classy and elegant and I was a little obsessed with the bridesmaids’ dresses.

Central Texas can’t quite make its mind up this year (just like every other year LOL) and Melani and Orlando got caught right in the middle of it. The day they got married, the high was 40 degrees and WINDY, but I’m so grateful we didn’t have rain thrown into the mix. Through it all, they smiled and were so overjoyed to get married. The blustery (channeling my inner Winnie the Pooh here) weather actually helped us out a little when it came to group portraits, because we got those done in RECORD TIME! And our coordinator, Blume Haus, was a Godsend. She sewed a bridesmaid dress, lent her bobby pins to keep the veil in, and was an all-around angel in disguise.

Melani and Orlando, thankyou so much for trusting me with your #bestdayever and being so sweet! I hope you enjoy your first Christmas as Mr and Mrs Martinez!
