I love all of my couples so much, but Rachel and Cory are a little extra special because we share a special date! My birthday is their anniversary!! I loved celebrating with them and their sweet friends and family. And the fact that everything was absolutely BEAUTIFUL is just the icing on the cake! (see what I did there ;) Seriously, I was in photography heaven ALL DAY. From the princess tent to the gorgeous bridal bouquet and Rachel’s dress–capturing all of this beauty was amazing.
Another special part of Cory and Rachel’s day is that they shared it with their adorable son, Oliver. He wrapped himself up in his mom’s veil during the vows and busted some moves on the dance-floor before his bedtime came and he had to go home (life is hard when you’re three 😂). He is just THE CUTEST and has so much personality *cue the baby fever*.
Cory’s family owns this venue, Turtle Creek Olive Grove, and Cory works there as a farmer! He has planted olive trees, grape vines, and has done so much with the land. How cool is it to reap the benefits of all of his hard work on his wedding day!
I can’t find the words to describe how amazing this day was and how honored I feel that they chose ME to capture these memories forever! Congratulations, Cory and Rachel! Enjoy my favorites! I obviously had a hard time choosing because you’re about to scroll through 200 photos 😁
xoxo,
Allison
I LOVE the getting-ready space at Turtle Creek Olive Grove!!! It reminds me of something I’ve seen in a princess movie! I’m not crying, you’re crying 😭 The bow on Morgan’s bridesmaid dress!! *heart. melt.* When they kissed everyone clapped, including Oliver! We did something a little different with their post-ceremony photos. I usually do the newlywed photos last, but I realized the sun was setting FAST! So, we ran away for about 20 minutes and literally chased the light until it was gone. I’m SO glad we did because their couples portraits are some of my favorites, ever *insert all the heart eyes here* Can we just take a moment of silence and admire THIS BOUQUET! And just like that, the light was GONE. Rachel and Cory opted to have a “controlled” exit with just their wedding party so they kill the buzz of their guests! This might be my new favorite thing simply because I love the group photo with all of them! And, of course, we HAD to get night portraits with that beautiful arch 😍
