Let me start by saying this is one of my favorite engagement sessions OF ALL TIME! I’m a flower girly to my core, and when Brooke said she wanted flowers I knew just the place to go! We met at the Wildseed Farms in Fredericksburg, Texas (they almost always have SOMETHING blooming) and we hit the flower jackpot. I’ve done quite a few Fredericksburg engagement sessions, but this one had every element–sunshine, gorgeous flowers, and the sweetest couple who said they didn’t know how to pose(that’s what everyone says) but caught on quickly and looked like models.
Brooke and Matt were so fun and chill. I always say I attract clients I want to be friends with and they are no exception. Even though this is the first time we met, I felt like I already knew them! I love how their photos turned out, and I can’t wait for the wedding!
This one’s a little blurry, but I love it. Blurry photos are also trendy now, so I’ll just say I did that on purpose haha.
This field of zinnias was everything heart eyes are made of. The Wildseed Farms has had these flowers blooming before, but never like THIS.
After the Wildseed Farms we hopped on over to The Aldtstadt Brewery next door! They have such a stunning courtyard (this is where they have weddings!) and grounds.
More motion blur. This time it was intentional ;) How do y’all feel about motion blur in photos?
It was actually supposed to rain the day of their session, and they were willing to take photos IN the rain! But the sun was so magical that day. I couldn’t believe it!
The manager was really cool and let us inside–as long as we didn’t touch the copper!
