I get excited anytime I am contacted for a surprise proposal, and this was no exception!

Chris and Larissa were on vacation in Fredericksburg and this diamond ring was burning a hold in his pocket. Chris booked a private wine tour with my new friend Riian and we coordinated the perfect proposal. Chris and Larissa’s last stop on their wine tour was at Augusta Vin, one of the most beautiful and unique wineries I’ve EVER seen. Chris was originally supposed to propose on the balcony overlooking the vineyard, but it was raining and the rain got so crazy that they had to come inside. I wish I had some behind the scenes footage because I was sitting 10 feet away with my camera gear and pretending to be on my phone while I waited for my cue 😂.

Chris had a special bottle of wine made (it was the same wine they drank on their first date three years ago) and the waiter brought it out and presented it to Larissa. She about died (see photo evidence) and it was so sweet! Everyone around was cheering and congratulating them!

By some miracle the rain let up just long enough for us to go outside and take some “just engaged” photos in the vineyard! I love how adventurous these two are because they had no problem kicking off their shoes and getting a little muddy. It was so worth it!
