A Fall Engagement Session in Historic Gruene, Texas | New Braunfels, Texas Wedding Photographer
Amber and Ethan have some strong ties to Gruene. It’s where they had their first date. It’s where Ethan asked Amber to spend forever with him. It’s where they’re vowing themselves for forever at The Chandelier of Gruene. So when we were trying to decide where their engagement session should be, Historic Gruene seemed like a no-brainer! It has charm, character, and so many memories for these two. My associate photographer, Kaethe(pronounced Kay-tuh) and I met up with these two fun-loving people and had THE BEST time laughing together and getting to know each other. Kaethe is going to be photographing their wedding in May at The Chandelier, and we are so excited for that!
This engagement session was actually scheduled for last Tuesday, the day before it SNOWED here in South Texas. It was 40 degrees and raining. When I looked at my weather app, Monday looked much more promising! 65 degrees and mostly sunny! So we rescheduled, and to everyone’s surprise, it actually worked out wonderfully. That’s something I love about Texas weather–one day it’s snowing, and the next day it’s like God turned on the heater.
I can’t wait for Amber’s bridal session and to see her beautiful dress in person!

Something I love about Gruene is that there is no shortage of pretty locations! It seems like every time we turned around, there was something cute to photograph. Like Gruene Mansion Inn–completely adorable! 
Another thing I love about Texas–Greenery ALL YEAR ROUND! It SNOWED less than a week before these photos, and everything is still green! Maybe that’s where the town’s name came from..? Gruene = green? 
These two were so adorable. They really didn’t even have to try!
