Anais + Jon | A Kendall Point Wedding

Anais and Jon met 4 years ago at a Christmas play where they played the parts of Mary and Joseph. In fact, so many things in their life revolve around Christmas time. It’s when they had their first date, it’s when Jon asked Anais to spend forever with him, and it’s when they they said “I do” surrounded by all of their friends and family at Kendall Plantation last weekend!

The Wedding was BEAUTIFUL!

And I’ll be honest–I’ve shot a LOT of weddings, but I’ve never teared up as much as I did at this one. There were so many special things that happened! Anais had a first look with her dad, Jon had a first look with his mom, and Anais and Jon had a first look! Each of them was SO sweet, and I know they will cherish those photos and memories forever. Jon’s grandfather officiated and added his own comical touch to the ceremony, and Jon SERENADED his new wife on the dance floor at the reception. It was amazing, and there wasn’t a frowny face in the building. They also had an epic dance party, fireworks show, and sparkler sendoff.

Getting to know these two sweet souls has been an absolute pleasure, and I’m so happy that they chose me to photograph their best day ever! Now scroll down and see some of their beautiful memories.

The bridal suite at Kendall Plantation is what photography dreams are made of!  Tear #1. Anais had some pretty amazing girls helping her out! I love love loooove first looks, and Anais and Jon’s didn’t disappoint. They were able to hug, kiss, and tell each other how awesome they looked without being interrupted! They also got some amazing couples portraits AND were able to do all of their wedding party and family photos before the ceremony! Win-win! Tear #2… THIS DRESS!! I still can’t get over it! It was so twirlable and perfect! I seriously don’t think they could get ANY cuter! Tear #3… LOVE these girls! Grayson was quite possibly the cutest ring bearer I’ve ever seen! Jon’s dad may not have been able to be with him in the flesh, but he was with him in spirit.  Tear #4… And 5…Some couples are afraid of doing First Looks because they think it will take away from the ceremony, but Anais and Jon said they would do it a million times over and would recommend it to everyone!  This will always be my favorite time during the whole wedding day. Nothing beats the look of pure joy in their faces as they walk up the aisle as husband and wife! Choosing my favorite photos of the two of them has been ridiculously hard, but I LOVE this one! It was a group effort, and I love how it turned out! The details on this Martina Liana dress were so BEAUTIFUL! I love this wedding trend of having Rescue Flats at the reception! It’s not only genius, but so thoughtful of the bride to think about all of the sore feet in the house.  Anais’s dress was made for dancing.  Tear #5… Jon sang “Just The Way You Are” by Bruno Mars to Anais, and I’m pretty sure we all got goosebumps. It was just SO beautiful.  We were also able to sneak out for some night photos, and I had a reeeeally hard time deciding between color and black and white! So I included both :) Feel free to comment below with your favorite! I have a thing for tree swings, and the swing at Kendall Plantation is adorable!
