An Intimate Fall Wedding in Utopia, Texas | Hill Country Wedding Photographer

I’ve known Jessica and Dustin for longer than I can remember. We go WAY back, so when they asked me to photograph their intimate wedding in Utopia I couldn’t have been more excited. Jess and I texted back and forth wedding ideas, and when she told me our friend, Tricia, AKA: Viridian Design Studio was doing the floral I knew it was going to be beautiful.

AND. IT. WAS.

Jessica is a rockstar Hair and Makeup artist and Dustin has a home building business with his dad (they actually built this home where they got ready!). They work so hard to provide for their ,now, family of five and I love that their kids were a part of the ceremony. It was so sweet watching them interact with each other, and you can tell their youngest son really looks up to his new big brother.

I could go on and on about how great these two people are and how much love surrounds them, but I’ll spare you. For now ;)

They had their intimate ceremony in the same spot where Dustin proposed. These pieces of furniture came from various family members and all hold special memories.  I’m just going to warn you, this is one of my all-time favorite bouquets, so you’re going to be seeing it a lot 😁 Dustin’s brother, Craig, officiated their wedding and had so many great things to say to them and about them.  Jessica is one of the most beautiful people, inside and out, I have ever met! She radiates joy, and like Dustin said in his vows, she chooses joy every day.  I love this first kiss shot so much, I want to hang it on MY wall. Is that weird?  THESE TWO!! 😭😍 My favorite part of the day: When Jessica’s 93 year-old grandpa welcomed Dustin into the family as his new grandson. *cue my heart melting*
