Lauren and Rob, What can I even SAY?! They did SO many cool things at their ranch wedding down in little Kerrville, Texas!

#1 They included their boy, Archie, in the wedding! 🐶

#2 Lauren ROWED IN to her ceremony in a CANOE!

#3 They had a modern ranch wedding (I know, it sounds like an oxymoron)

Lauren and Rob are cool people. I don’t know how else to describe it. They didn’t want to cause a fuss. They didn’t want to do their wedding like everyone else. They wanted a minimal, organic, casual feel to their day, and that’s exactly what they got. Lauren’s good friend, Taylor Cumbie also happens to be an amazing florist with a beautiful wild eye for floral design and she decked out Lauren’s pink canoe with beautiful floral. I loved the shades of purple and all of the unique stems in all of the florals. They were just SO STUNNING!

Lauren also has great taste and picked out the most beautiful, simple dress from BHLDN (find it here) and her “something blue” shoes by Rachel Simpson (find them here). She completed her look with a locket passed down and delicate vine earrings.

I absolutely LOVED being a part of this wedding. It not only inspired me and pushed me to think out of the box (check out their night portraits in the CANOE!!! 😍). I had such a great time with Lauren and Rob and their sweet friends and family, and I’m so honored they chose me to capture their #bestdayever!

Archie was giving me his best Blue Steel here. SO GOOD, Arch! I love Lauren and Rob because they aren’t afraid to get a little dirty. Or fall into the river 😂. Lauren and Rob LOVE the outdoors (obvs) and so do their friends! Many of their guests pitched their tent on the property to stay overnight!  Taylor Cumbie’s eye for floral design is SO STUNNING! My new best friend 😂😍 Y’ALL! You know how I know my clients REALLY love me? They climb into a canoe in complete darkness and completely trust me! This is always my favorite part of the night, but it’s always so hard to just choose ONE! Which one is your favorite??
