When I first walked into Saint Mary’s in Fredericksburg my jaw literally dropped. It was like something out of the royal wedding (which I’m still watching on repeat, by the way 😂). The height of the ceiling was unreal and every little detail and hand-carved wood was impressive. Usually church wedding get a side eye from wedding photographers because there’s red carpet or no natural light, but I’ve never been in SUCH a beautiful church with beautiful light and beautiful neutral colors. It was photography heaven for sure.
Jacqueline and Zach chose to get married at St Mary’s Catholic Church and have their reception a few blocks away at The National Museum of the Pacific War. Their colors were Navy blue hues of red and pink (so royal ;), and Jac’s David Tutera DRESS was everything girls dream about. Not to mention her cathedral length veil that turned heads and made the perfect veil-flying-in-the-wind photos.
Their day was absolutely perfect.
It wasn’t too hot (surprising since it has been over 100 degrees here in Texas lately) and they got their good-luck rain for a few minutes after the ceremony.
After their ceremony they hopped into an antique Ford Model A and cruised to their reception in style where they danced the night away with their family and friends!
I had such a great time getting to know these two! From their engagement session (see it here) to Jac’s dreamy bridal session (see it here), I feel like they’re long-time friends! Thank-you so much, Jac and Zach, for choosing me to photograph your #bestdayever! I wish you guys decades of happiness and love❤
These shoes, though *insert all the heart eyes* I’m also pretty obsessed with Jacqueline’s ring! Yep. St Mary’s is my all-time favorite church. Also, my favorite ring bearer to date! He was SO excited about carrying the ring and made sure to smile BIG for me! It actually started raining during bridal party photos! But not enough to stop us from getting some great images. This cascading bouquet made by Viridian Design Studio was EVERYTHING! Go ahead and pin this image, because I know you want to ;) They took their Grand March outside! Jac and Zach live in a divided house, and Jacqueline had the inside of his UT cake filled with maroon cake!
