They day we did Jacqueline’s bridal session at Turtle Creek Olive Grove, it stormed all day! When I got into my car to leave my house I looked up at the sky and had serious doubts. But my weather app promised there was a break coming, and it was right! When I arrived to the venue I couldn’t believe I saw the sun coming out. It was also a record-breaking 60 degrees! That might sound pretty normal if you don’t live in Texas, but for May in Texas that’s pretty cold! In fact, it was 100 degrees a week later.
We cruised around the property and found some beautiful locations for portraits, and nothing beat the sunshine that broke through the storm clouds.
Jac looked like a Carrie Underwood princess in that blush David Tutera gown. She said it wasn’t originally what she envisioned her dress to look like, but couldn’t resist when she tried it on! And her cathedral-length veil was the perfect touch. it caught the wind beautifully (just wait until you see their wedding photos! 😍).
We had so much fun together in the Hill Country, and I can’t WAIT to share their wedding photos with you guys!!
Viridian Design / Especially Yours Flowers did an AMAZING job on this cascading bouquet! I honestly couldn’t get enough of it. Obviously. haha!
