Ladies and Gentlemen, there’s a new and STUNNING venue in town called The Preserve at Canyon Lake. I had the opportunity to tour it while it was under construction and photograph it when it was complete!

Before I get started, I want to credit the vendors who were a part of this fabulous styled shoot (If you are unsure of what a styled shoot is, it’s basically a fake wedding that is put together for wedding inspiration!).

• It is over 15,000 covered square feet (read: air-conditioned chapel! Hallelujah!)
• It can host 300+ guests
• Part of Canyon Lake runs through the property
• The architecture style is modern, transitional, with a hint of traditional.
• Only one event is hosted at a time
• Cross-back wooden chairs are provided by the venue
• There is also an outdoor ceremony option that’s great for smaller weddings

My favorite aspects of The Preserve at Canyon Lake

The Indoor Chapel

*insert heart eyes here*!

Worry no more about rain on your wedding day, because this chapel is gorgeous rain or shine! I always tell future brides who are looking for venues to make sure their venue has a rain plan! This chapel checks all the boxes. It has a plethora of natural light, It’s air conditioned, It is big enough to hold a large amount of people, and it’s BEAUTIFUL. This is also great for Summer weddings in Texas because most of your day will be spent inside in the AC!

The Bridal Suite

In my 9 YEARS of experience I have never seen a bridal suite quite like this. It’s huge and has natural light for days. There are also plush swivel chairs for girls getting their hair and makeup done, and the most beautiful floor mirror that I’ve had my eye on for my own house.

PS the guys’ getting ready area is nothing to sneeze at either. They usually get the short end of the stick, but not here!

The Lake

It’s hard to capture the entire beauty of the lake at this venue on camera, but trust me when I say it is magical. Book a tour and take a stroll on the sidewalk, and you’ll understand what I’m talking about.

The Spiral Staircase

This staircase is my absolute favorite feature of The Preserve at Canyon Lake! It’s STUNNING and grand and all of the other adjectives that go along with those. And I love the windows they placed here that let the sun shine in. The adjacent hallway is also beautiful!

The reception space does not disappoint! This beautiful rock fireplace is perfect for decorating with candles, florals, or whatever your heart desires.

There’s also this alcove in the reception hall that is perfect for the cake, champagne wall, or photo booth!
