Highlights From Our Best Year Yet | Texas Wedding Photographer

Every year I like to take some time to cull through THOUSANDS of wedding day photos and bring together my favorites for a year-in-reveiw post. It’s not only fun to take a trip down memory lane, but it gives me a chance to look back and see how far I’ve come! 2017 was a WONDERFUL year for the business! The BEST year YET!  We photographed 30 beautiful weddings in Central Texas with the sweetest couples ever. We also orchestrated 10 styled shoots with some amazing vendors!

2017 brought us back to some of our favorite venues (that feel like home at this point) like the magical Sisterdale Dancehall, rustic chic CW Ranch and Cherokee Rose, as well as the beautiful Southwest School of Art. We also had the opportunity to photograph beautiful new-to-us venues like The Hotel Emma, Kendall Plantation, The Addison Grove, Contigo Ranch, The Chandelier of Gruene, Paniolo Ranch, Tapatio Springs Resort, along with some beautiful private ranches.

2017 also came with awards, featured work, and making wonderful friends in the wedding business.

We were also featured in these publications! As well as our first print feature in The Knot Texas magazine!

We also photographed our first Hotel Emma weddings, and they were absolutely to die for *insert all the heart eyes here*

Can we talk about THIS DRESS from Beatitude Bridal?! Holy Cannoli.  We also had quite a few destination Hill Country weddings! Amylynn came in from DC and Tanner came in from Arizona! This Kendall Plantation wedding KNOCKED OUR SOCKS OFF! (Check out the rest here!) And this elopement at Enchanted Rock left me speechless.  We also photographed a lot of adorable little kids.. night portraits were taken to a whole new level
Check out this beautiful wild bouquet from The Petal Post I also saw my first raw diamond…and fell in love.  We also had the opportunity to photograph this Texas flag at CW Ranch A LOT!
I honestly just wanted to take her home with me! HOW PRECIOUS can one child be?! We fell in love with this greenery tunnel at Paniolo Ranch in Boerne!  And THIS bouquet from The Elegant Bee *insert my heart eyes here* Not pictured: peacocks chasing after me while I’m screaming like a little girl. HAHA! YIKES! We’ve had so much to be thankful for in 2017, and I can’t wait to see what 2018 holds!
