In case you haven’t noticed, proposals are my favorite thing to photograph! It’s so fun planning surprises and being there to photograph the shock, excitement, and giddiness that ensues. I have probably photographed 100 proposals and I still get butterflies in my stomach when I’m waiting for my couple to walk into place and capture them at the perfect time–not too soon to where she sees me, but not too late either! It’s a delicate science haha.
Ty’s proposal to Tobi was sweet and went off without a hitch. When we were chatting on the phone and going over the final plan he mentioned that the ring box was huge and he wasn’t sure where to hide it when they were walking into the venue. He ended up putting it in his boot which actually worked out perfectly and added a little suspense for Tobi. We, of course, had a mini engagement session after she said “yes” and captured some sweet moments of these two. Take a look at my favorites from their session!
