If you’re looking for a beautiful Magnolia-esque place to propose in Fredericksburg Signor Vineyards is the vineyard for you! It has so many spots that would work for a proposal, and it’s all-around adorable. Ryan chose this vineyard because his now-fiancee Darlene mentioned that she had been wanting to visit Signor and heard so many great things about it.

Ryan proposed on their anniversary–so sweet and SMART! As someone with three anniversaries (first date, proposal, and wedding) I can see the benefit of having your first date and proposal anniversaries on the same date 😂👏

Coordinating this for Ryan and Darlene was so fun! Ryan had this wine label shipped to me along with the rose petals, so I arrived at Signor early to get everything ready. I set everything up in front of Joanna’s Market because it’s so adorable and there was no one around! I pretended to photograph the grape vines in the vineyard while Ryan and Darlene walked to their picnic table, just in case she was paying extra attention.

Ryan reached down and got the ring out of his boot (creativity points 😂) and Darlene was in tears. It was the sweetest thing to witness, and she said YES!

We had a mini engagement session around the property and it even started raining on us a little bit. We had a pretty high chance of rain that day, but we definitely lucked out because it dried up a few minutes after I got my umbrellas from the car (of course) and we were able to get so many cute photos of them!

I’m so honored to have the opportunity to photograph part of their love story. This was the highlight of my week!
