This Bridgerton inspired Spring editorial was everything my pastel-loving heart needed. It was at The Olana wedding Venue in Hickory Creek, Texas (Dallas area) and the venue alone is a dreamy dream. It has thousands of square feet of marble and columns and ornate details and high ceilings. Just driving up to The Olana is a treat in itself. I photographed a wedding here right after Snowvid in 2021 (see it here) and it was GORGEOUS! As a wedding photographer, I see a LOT of venues, but The Olana is easily one of my top 5 favorite venues in Texas. I can’t wait to be back and maybe get some warm weather!
The details of this shoot were so well thought-out. I LOVE these chairs and how they bring an antique element to a modern tablescape.
And this hand-painted bottle of Proseco…
There was a major flower shortage at the time so some of these flowers are faux, but I bet you can’t tell which ones they are.
Our bride was the Diamond of the season.
If you zoom in closely you can see little rain drops because, of course, it was drizzling and cold.
